Juveniles and others sentenced to life terms are not eligible to receive a grant to pay for college tuition, books and supplies. These costs must be paid privately. All money donated to the Pendulum Scholarship Fund goes directly to pay for a prisoner's tuition, books and supplies. A donation of $375 will pay the entire cost of tuition, books and supplies for a prisoner to take a 3 credit hour college course.
A donation of $1,500 allows a prisoner to enroll for the maximum number of courses (4 classes or 12 Credit Hours) typically offered at prisons in Colorado.
"Boomerrang-It! A Facilitator's Guide to Restorative Practices" will provide EVERYTHING you need to heal the harm between victim, offender and the larger community. Tailored for schools, youth organizations, and prisons. (Cost: $50)
Help Youth Transformation Center and The Pendulum Foundation take restorative practices into prison. Healing emotional wounds and bringing spiritual transforation to all those serving life is our ultimate goal.
